Quick release mooring hook project for Equinor Kårstø terminal

Straatman accepted a fantastic order for a project at Equinor Kårstø terminal in Norway.
 
The Kårstø processing plant, located north of Stavanger, is the largest of its kind in Europe. The plant plays a key role in the transport and processing of gas and condensate from major sites of the northern parts of the North Sea.

First deliveries of berthing project Calandkanaal

The first of 14 transports has just left our factory in Zwijndrecht, delivering a large solar and mooring hook project to the Port of Rotterdam.

BAS project including EMS for Pertamina Balikpapan

Recently, we finished a BAS project including EMS for our customer Pertamina EP for their refinery in Balikpapan, which is located on the Indonesian part of Borneo, Kalimantan. This project included handheld systems and software integration of all products to the client’s systems.

Straatman wins order for Quebrada Blanca Phase 2

Last week we signed the contract to supply several Quick Release Hooks, Load Monitoring, Solar and 4G Telemetry systems. All the systems will be installed on buoys, which accommodate safe mooring for vessels for this Copper mine.

The complete system will be explosion proof, and is due to be delivered Q1 2022.

Quick Release Mooring Hook project for FSRU Toscana

For safe side by side mooring a complete mooring system will be added on the FSRU Toscana which is permanently moored about 22 km off the Italian coast between Livorno and Pisa, in the Region of Tuscany.

Production of draghead with turtle deflector

For one of our dredging customers, we are currently producing a draghead, knife type with movable vizor, adjustable water-inlet over the knives, jet nozzles and turtle deflector. Although we have been making products for the dredging industry since 1965, this is our first draghead with a turtle deflector.

Quick release mooring hooks for mooring buoys in Egypt

Within a challenging time frame of 10 weeks from order to delivery, we completed the production of 6 pcs of double 100T quick release mooring hooks last week. The units will be installed on mooring buoys that are manufactured by our customer Resinex, with end destination Egypt. We are proud that our team did the outmost to be able to meet the clients tight delivery schedule.

All delivered quick release mooring hooks have an integrated remote release system and IP67 control box. IP67 equipment is well protected against water.

Straatman signs collaborative agreement with Strainstall

We’re excited to announce that we are now fully committed to supporting all of Strainstall’s Quick Release Hook and Jetty System customers around the world. As part of our collaborative agreement with Strainstall, following their decision to exit the Quick Release Hook market, Straatman can now supply replacement assemblies, spare-parts, upgrades, servicing and full technical support, for any existing Strainstall Quick Release Hook systems.
